Order a Pack
We have created a free Online Disclosures ECB support pack. This user-friendly pack has been specially designed to guide both the employer and applicant through the criminal record check process.
On 1st December 2012 the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and the Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) merged to form the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
The CRB application form was replaced with a new DBS application form. The form now reflects the change of name from CRB to DBS and a new logo, together with some wording and format changes. All key processes and information required to complete the application form remain unchanged.
- DBS application forms will be available for use from 1st December
- From 1st February 2013 only DBS application forms should be used
- Any old style CRB application forms received after 1st February 2013 will be invalid
